Note: The Scrolling Text component is only available in the latest component version with the Styling Panel. Contact your CSM if you need help upgrading.

This animation-driven component lets you bring text to life by continuously moving it horizontally or vertically across your slide. Whether you’re highlighting breaking news, showcasing announcements, or adding a modern flair to your decks, Scrolling Text keeps your audience engaged with smooth, customizable motion.

Step 1: Add the Scrolling Text Component
Open the Component Store: Begin by accessing the Component Store, search for “Scrolling Text”, and click to add it to your slide.

Step 2: Size and Position the Component
Click and drag the component’s handles to size it exactly how you want. Then, move it to the perfect spot on your slide so it aligns with your layout and design flow.

Step 3: Add Your Text Content
Open the component’s settings panel and add each line or “row” of text you want to scroll. You can stack multiple rows to cycle through different messages, headlines, or announcements.

Ideal use cases include:

  • Live news or social media updates

  • Sales promotions and limited-time offers

  • Event schedules and speaker highlights

  • Motivational quotes or company values

Step 4: Customize Scrolling Behavior
Tailor the motion to fit your story:

  • Scroll Direction: Choose horizontal (left-to-right or right-to-left) or vertical (top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top)

  • Scroll Speed: Adjust how quickly your text moves—slow for emphasis or fast for urgency

  • Text Gap: Control the spacing between each text row for readability or compactness

Step 5: Style the Component
Make your text stand out by fine-tuning appearance settings:

  • Text Size & Font: Select a font and size that matches your brand identity and ensures readability

  • Text Color: Pick a color that contrasts with your background or complements your palette

  • Background Color: Add a solid or translucent background to frame your scrolling text and improve legibility

Final Tip:
Use Scrolling Text to inject energy and immediacy into your presentations—perfect for dashboards, digital signage, or any slide that benefits from live-style updates. Play with direction and speed combinations to find the pacing that best captures your audience’s attention and reinforces your message.
