Note: The Button Link component is only available to the newest component version that utilizes the styling panel, contact your CSM with questions about updating to the Component Styling Panel.
Step 1: Add the Link Button Component
Begin by accessing the Component Store, search for “Link Button”, and add it to your slide.
Step 2: Size and Position
Click and drag the component, size it as desired, then place it anywhere on your slide layout. Proper sizing ensures that your button fit cleanly within your overall design.
Step 3: Add or Disable you Button Label
Use the component settings panel to enter a Button Label (the text that will be shown on the button).
Or
Use the Hide Label checkbox (un-check the checkbox) to disable the Button Label text.
IF you use the Hide Label option it is recommended that you use the 'Include Graphics' to use an 'Image' or 'Icon' in place of text.
Step 4: Add External Link or Choose an In-presentation Link
Add the desired website link into the Path URL text area.
IF you are adding a link to an external site you will want to make sure the 'Open External URL In New Window' checkbox is checked.

Use the Main Menu (house/home) icon to set the button to link to the Main Menu of your presentation:
Use the Chapter (bookmark) icon to set the button to link to a specific chapter within your presentation:
Use the Slide (square with left and right border) icon to set the button to link to a specific slide within your presentation:
IF you are linking to the Main Menu, a Chapter, or a Slide, you will want to make sure the 'Open External URL In New Window' checkbox is un-checked.
Step 5: Style the Component
Use the Styling tab to style the button (styling options will be based on settings used).
