Animating Text Component

Animate text with motion that loops a set number of times or infinitely

Note: The Animating Text component is only available to the newest component version that utilizes the styling panel, contact your CSM with questions about updating to the Component Styling Panel.


Step 1: Add the Animating Text Component
Begin by accessing the Component Store, search for “Animating Text”, and add it to your slide.


Step 2: Size and Position
Click and drag the component, size it as desired, then place it anywhere on your slide layout.

Proper sizing ensures that the desired text fit cleanly within your overall design.

Note: You may find it more convenient to change the size and position of the Animating Text component after you have added the Text, and changed the Styling (using the options found within the Styling tab/panel).


Step 3: Add Text, Set Position and Alignment
Use the component settings panel to enter the desired into the Text input area (the text will be added into the component container automatically).


​The options for Vertical Text Position are:

  • Top

  • Middle

  • Bottom

​The options for Text Alignment are:

  • Left

  • Center

  • Right


Step 4: Set the Animation
Use the Animation Type dropdown to set the animation for the text.

Note: After setting an Animation Type you can switch to Edit mode to preview the Animation Type you have chosen

​The options for Animation Types are:

  • Typewriter

  • Ascend

  • Descend

  • Grow

  • Bounce

  • Blur

  • Jumping

  • Floating

  • Glitch

​The other options Animation options are:

  • Cursor Color (only when Typewriter Animation Type is selected)
    This will set the color of a vertical line that is shown to the right side of animating text characters

  • Duration
    This is the time it will take to animate all of the Text

  • Initial Delay
    This is the time it will take before the Text starts to animate

  • Repeat Delay
    This is the time the between a finished animation and a repeat of the animation

  • Infinite Animation (check box option)

    When option is checked/enabled the animation will repeat endlessly

  • Iteration (only when Infinite Animation is unchecked/disabled)
    This is how many times the Animation will repeat


Step 5: Style the Text and component Container
Use the Styling tab to style the Text and Component Container.

The options for the Text styling are:

  • Font Size

  • Font Family
    Font options will depend upon deck settings

  • Text Color

  • Text Transform
    Text Transform allows you to change the Casing of the text, but may be limited by the Font Family

The options for the component Container styling are:

  • Background Color

  • Border

  • Border Radius

  • Padding

  • Drop Shadow
