The Full Screen component allows you to instantly present your DIGIDECK slides in a clean, distraction-free view by removing browser menus, tabs, and other on-screen elements. This feature is ideal for live meetings, events, or large displays where you want your audience’s full attention on the content.

Step 1: Add the Full Screen Component

Open Layout Mode: Begin by opening your presentation and switching to Layout Mode using the button in the bottom-left corner.

Access the Component Store: Click the “+” button (top-left corner) to open the component store.

Search and Add: Search for “Full Screen” or browse the list to locate the Full Screen component. Click to add it to your slide.

Step 2: Position the Full Screen Button

Drag and Resize: Once the component is added, move the Full Screen button to your preferred location on the slide. Top corners are recommended for easy access.

Adjust Size: Resize the button to fit your slide design without covering important content.

Step 3: Save Your Changes

Click Save to apply your layout updates and make the button live.

Step 4: Use the Full Screen Component

Enter Full Screen: During your presentation, clicking the Full Screen button will instantly expand your slide into full screen mode. All browser elements (menus, tabs, address bar) will be hidden for a distraction-free experience.

Exit Full Screen: Viewers can exit full screen at any time by pressing the ESC key or clicking the Full Screen button again.

Best Practices

  • Placement: Position the button where it’s easy to locate but does not interfere with your content.

  • High-Impact Slides: Use full screen on slides designed to impress, such as introductions, multimedia showcases, or big visual recaps.

  • Pair with Media: Combine with videos, images, or animations to maximize audience engagement.
