Acquia DAM integration
Made possible through the Asset Panel, this new feature allows users to browse and search their Acquia DAM for assets to display within a slide.
When an asset is selected, itβs automatically placed using the appropriate component, just like adding items from the Gallery tab.
This integration was developed as a client feature requirement and must be enabled for each client that uses Acquia.
Rich Text Component - Template Mode
This new feature enables real-time dynamic variable swapping, allowing slides to become fully dynamic without the need for complex setup or custom code.
With Template Mode, designers can now easily display dynamic text that can be fully styled using our built-in tools, eliminating the need to rely on custom CSS for formatting.
This update opens the door for beautifully designed, data-rich presentations that stay flexible and on brand β all within the native editing experience.
Dropdown Component
Introducing the new Dropdown Component, designed to enhance interactivity and streamline data selection within DIGIDECK presentations.
This component allows users to present a list of predefined options that can drive dynamic content or data display throughout a slide or presentation.
Whether used for filtering content, selecting categories, or customizing the viewer experience, the Dropdown Component offers a simple yet powerful way to make presentations more engaging and data-driven.
Image Component - Data Store Binding Option
The Image Component now supports data store binding, allowing images to dynamically update based on underlying data.
This enhancement enables more flexible and interactive experiences within DIGIDECK presentations.
Users can configure the component to display images that change automatically in response to data updates, filters, or selections β making it easier than ever to tailor visuals to specific audiences or scenarios.
Text Input - Scope To Slide Option
The Text Input component now includes a Scope to Slide option, giving users greater control over how dynamic data is displayed.
When enabled, the data entered or displayed in the Text Input is contained to that specific slide, ensuring it does not pull or share dynamic data across other slides.
This feature is ideal for presentations that require slide-specific inputs or localized data interactions, providing a cleaner and more consistent user experience.
Bug Fixes
Copy Paste - Windows Chrome
Resolved an issue that prevented components from being copied and pasted when using DIGIDECK in Google Chrome on Windows devices. Users can now reliably copy and paste components across slides and presentations without interruption, ensuring a smoother and more consistent editing experience.
Deck Files Selection Not Working
Fixed an issue where selecting a file from the Deck File Gallery would occasionally fail, preventing users from choosing a file as expected. This update ensures that file selection now works reliably every time, improving workflow consistency and reducing frustration during deck creation and editing.
