PowerPoint Export

Exporting a DIGIDECK Presentation to PowerPoint

Written by DIGIDECK Support

Overview

The PowerPoint Export feature lets you convert any DIGIDECK presentation into a fully editable Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) file, making it easy to share or repurpose your deck outside of the platform.

The primary goal of this feature is to give you usable, moveable content in PowerPoint β€” text and images you can immediately edit, restyle, and rearrange. It is not currently a one-to-one conversion of your DIGIDECK.

DIGIDECK presentations are built as dynamic, HTML-based slides that support interactive components, responsive layouts, and live content, while PowerPoint slides are fixed, static frames with a predefined set of supported elements. Because of this technical difference, some HTML-driven features and dynamic components do not have a direct PowerPoint equivalent and will not transfer in the export.

How to Export

  1. Open the Presentations Library in your DIGIDECK.

  2. Click the three-dot (…) menu on the right side of the presentation row to open the Options panel.

  3. Under Exporting, click PPT to start the export workflow.

  4. Click Generate New PowerPoint and keep the modal open while your file is created.

  5. When the success screen appears, click Download PPT to save the file, or Copy Link to share a download URL.

Current Components Supported

Only specific components will export on a slide currently. DIGIDECK has 50+ component so a lot won't be able to make it to PPT, but our list of supported is growing.

  • Rich Text (only text, no tables or images)

  • Image Component

  • Video Component (fit / full functionality in developement)

  • Rectangle Component

  • Icons (colors and settings in developement)

Slide Background Colors will also export with your components.

Current Limitations (BETA)

  • Grid mode is the only supported component positioning.

  • Line height on web compared to PPT is different, so it may need adjustments.

  • Positioning of Components may move to the right based on amount of overlapping component, this issue is currently being looked into.

  • While useable in older version of DIGIDECK, latest version components are the only full supported.

  • Animations and transitions are not supported and must be recreated in PowerPoint if needed.

  • Some styling adjustments may be needed after download to match your original design.

Troubleshooting

Export taking too long? Larger decks take longer to process. If it stalls, close the modal, refresh, and try again.

File didn't download? Check your browser's pop-up and download settings for app.platform.sportsdigita.com.

Content missing or off? Unsupported components (shapes, animations, embedded media) won't appear. Adjust manually in PowerPoint.
