Create Slide with AI

Use Create Slide with AI to generate a new slide inside DIGIDECK from a prompt. Instead of manually choosing a template and building the slide yourself, AI helps create a draft slide you can preview, refine, and then add to your presentation.

What is Create Slide with AI?

Create Slide with AI is an interactive, chat-based workflow for adding one new slide to an existing presentation or master deck. It is designed for moments when you know a slide is missing and want DIGIDECK to help build it faster.

This feature is especially useful when you want to:

  • add a new slide to an existing presentation

  • turn an idea or request into a slide draft quickly

  • generate on-brand copy and layout from a prompt

  • refine a proposed slide before adding it

  • create a new slide without starting from a blank template manually

While editing a presentation or master deck library, click the '+Add' dropdown and select the 'Create Slide with AI' option.

What Create Slide with AI can do

Depending on your setup and permissions, Create Slide with AI can help you:

  • Generate a brand-aligned slide draft from a prompt

  • Use an interactive chat to refine the slide before it is created

  • Preview the slide first before committing it to your presentation

  • Select or change the template if the first suggested layout is not the right fit

  • Create from existing templates in your DIGIDECK environment

  • Support interactive content types when the right template exists

  • Use web-backed prompts to bring in supporting ideas or research when available

How Create Slide with AI works

Create Slide with AI does not build from a blank canvas. Instead, it uses the templates available in your DIGIDECK setup to generate a new slide that fits the intent of your prompt.

In general, the workflow looks like this:

  1. You open the Create Slide with AI flow.

  2. You enter a prompt describing the slide you want.

  3. DIGIDECK generates a preview of the slide.

  4. You refine the slide through the AI chat if needed.

  5. You choose to Create Slide once the preview looks right.

This makes the process more interactive than a one-click generation tool. You can review and improve the result before it is added to the deck.

After adding or selecting a prompt, click the 'Generate Slide Preview' button.

Once the Slide Preview has generated, you will be able to refine your slide with additional prompts.

Click the '+Create Slide' button at the bottom to confirm and create the slide.

Before you start

For the best experience:

  • Open the presentation or master deck where you want to add the slide

  • Be clear about the goal of the slide before writing your prompt

  • Include audience, message, and desired format in your request

  • If your team uses specific templates or interactive components, reference that in the prompt when relevant

How to use Create Slide with AI

  1. Open the presentation or master deck in DIGIDECK.

  2. Launch Create Slide with AI.

  3. Enter a prompt describing the slide you want created.

  4. Review the AI-generated preview.

  5. Use the chat to refine the content, structure, or direction.

  6. If needed, change the selected template.

  7. Click Create Slide to add the new slide to your deck.

Example prompts

Here are a few ways to use Create Slide with AI effectively:

Create a new slide from a simple idea

  • Create a slide promoting our premium sponsorship package for healthcare prospects.

  • Build a slide that explains our three-step onboarding process.

  • Create a slide introducing our platform benefits for executive buyers.

Create a slide for a specific audience

  • Create a slide for a C-level prospect in financial services about operational efficiency.

  • Build a slide for a sponsorship sales pitch focused on fan engagement outcomes.

  • Create a slide tailored for a renewal conversation with an existing customer.

Create a slide with structure guidance

  • Create a slide with a headline, 3 bullets, and a call to action.

  • Build a comparison slide showing our solution versus the status quo.

  • Create a slide that summarizes 4 key customer pain points.

Create a slide with interactive content in mind

  • Create a slide that includes expandable panels for disclosures.

  • Build a slide with interactive content that lets the presenter reveal supporting details.

Use web-backed help when available

  • Create a slide using 3 current industry trends for healthcare sponsorships.

  • Find supporting points about this topic and create a slide with concise bullets.

Best practices

To get stronger results:

  • Be specific about the purpose of the slide

  • Include the audience you are speaking to

  • Tell the AI what format you want back, such as bullets, comparison points, or a headline with supporting copy

  • Mention any important brand, message, or component requirements

  • Use follow-up prompts to improve the preview before creating the slide

Current limitations

Keep these limitations in mind:

  • The feature is designed to create one new slide at a time

  • It creates slides from existing templates, not from a blank canvas

  • AI may not choose the perfect template on the first attempt, but you can refine or change it

  • More advanced multi-layout suggestion flows may evolve over time

  • Results depend on the quality and clarity of your prompt

  • The available output is influenced by the templates and components already configured in your DIGIDECK environment

Interactive content and templates

Create Slide with AI can work well with DIGIDECK’s more advanced content types when the right template exists. For example, if your environment includes templates with expandable panels or disclosure-style interactions, the AI can use those structures when your prompt asks for them.

That means the best way to improve output is often to maintain strong template coverage for the kinds of slides your team wants to create.

When to use Create Slide with AI vs. AI Editor Assistant

Use Create Slide with AI when you need to add a brand-new slide.

Use AI Editor Assistant when a slide already exists and you want to modify or improve that active slide.

A common workflow is:

  1. Create a new slide with AI

  2. Review the preview

  3. Add the slide to the deck

  4. Continue refining it with AI Editor Assistant or standard editing tools

Tips for better prompting

A strong prompt usually includes:

  • what the slide is about

  • who it is for

  • what message matters most

  • how the content should be structured

Example Prompt:

Create a slide for a healthcare sponsorship sales meeting. Use a strong headline, 3 concise benefit bullets, and a short closing statement focused on fan engagement and revenue impact.

Need more help?

If the first preview is not quite right, refine the prompt and keep iterating. Create Slide with AI is designed to be conversational, so small follow-up instructions often lead to a much better final result.
