What DIGI PDF Studio does
The classic PDF export takes a picture of each slide. DIGI PDF Studio reads the content of the slides you pick, then writes and lays out a fresh document in your brand's colors and fonts. The result looks like a leave-behind someone designed by hand, and you can keep editing it after it's made.
Where to find the button
Go to your Presentations library and find the presentation you want to turn into a PDF.
Click the ellipsis (...) to the right of the presentation's name and choose PDF.
At the top of the PDF window you'll see a panel labeled DigiPDF. Click Create with DigiPDF to open DIGI PDF Studio.
By default every slide in the presentation is included. If you only want some of them, click Select slides first, tick the ones you want, and click Done. There's also an Include main menu checkbox if you want the deck's main menu as a page. The Create with DigiPDF button stays greyed out until at least one slide is selected.
Once you've saved a PDF, a small DIGI PDF icon appears next to the presentation's name in the library. Clicking it takes you straight back into the studio, so you don't need to go through the PDF menu again.
Generate your first PDF
The studio opens on a home screen. On the left is Your PDFs, a list of everything you've made for this presentation. In the middle is a short form to start a new one.
In the box that says "Describe your PDF, or leave blank", type a sentence or two about what you want. For example: "A two-page summary for a season ticket holder, friendly tone, lead with pricing." You can also leave it empty and DIGI will decide.
Choose an output format: Letter Portrait or Letter Landscape.
Click Generate PDF.
DIGI will show you what it's doing as it works: reading your deck, planning the pages, creating them, then checking the layout. Pages appear one at a time, and you can click through the ones that are finished while the rest are still being built. Expect it to take a few minutes. Editing and download unlock when the whole PDF is ready.
Note: the page count won't match your slide count. DIGI reorganizes the content into pages that read well on paper, so a presentation can come out longer or shorter than the deck it came from.
Make changes with the PDF assistant
When the PDF is ready you land in the workspace. Your pages run down the left side, the current page is in the middle, and the PDF assistant sits on the right with three tabs: Chat, History, and Brand.
Chat is where most of the work happens. Type what you'd like changed in the box at the bottom and click the send button. Before you send, check the scope dropdown next to the box. It controls how much of the document DIGI is allowed to touch:
Whole PDF applies the change everywhere. Good for "make it feel more premium" or "shorten all the copy."
This section limits it to the section the current page belongs to.
This page limits it to the page you're looking at.
Selected element appears when you've clicked something on the page. It limits the change to just that one piece.
A few things that work well:
Ask for a tone or style shift across the whole PDF: "warmer and less corporate," "more white space."
Fix one page without disturbing the others: switch the scope to This page and say "turn these bullets into a short paragraph."
Click a headline or image, switch to Selected element, and say "make this bigger" or "swap this for the stadium photo."
Each revision is saved as a new version, so you can always go back. If an answer wasn't helpful, use the thumbs up or thumbs down under it. That helps us improve DIGI PDF Studio.
The Brand tab shows the colors, typography, and imagery DIGI pulled from your deck, so you can see what it's working from. To change the look, ask in Chat with the scope set to Whole PDF.
Edit text directly on the page
You don't have to go through chat for a typo. Click any text on the page and an Edit text box opens in the assistant panel with that text in it. Change it and click Save text. The page updates and a "Text updated" message confirms it.
Saving a text edit takes longer than you might expect, sometimes close to a minute, because the page is re-laid out around your new wording. Once you've edited text this way, the header shows a Source edited tag so you know this version includes hand changes.
Undo and go back to an earlier version
There's an Undo button in the top bar. It reverses the last saved change.
For anything further back, open the History tab. Every version is listed with what changed, and the one you're looking at is marked Current version. Click Restore this version on any earlier one to bring it back. Restoring makes a new version too, so you can always get back to where you were.
Download, print, or come back later
Download PDF and Print are in the top bar. Download produces a standard PDF file you can attach to an email or drop into a shared drive. Print opens the PDF in a new window; use that window's print button.
If you've made edits since your last download, the studio will remind you to download again so the file includes them.
You can leave at any time with Back to presentation. Your PDFs are saved automatically and will be waiting under Your PDFs the next time you open the studio, or via the DIGI PDF icon beside the presentation in your library.
What if I don't see the button?
DIGI PDF Studio is powered by DIGI, DIGIDECK's AI solution. If the DigiPDF panel isn't in your PDF window, DIGI isn't part of your account yet. Reach out to your CSM or email support@sportsdigita.com to learn more about DIGI and how to get access.
Your regular PDF export still works from the presentation's PDF menu.
