Offline App (Digideck Editor) Mini-Guide:
The offline app is what we recommend be used for offline presenting or when you are not sure if the internet/network will reliably load the presentation (which is based one connectivity and speed of the network).
The way the offline app works is, you download the presentations to the app while you are connected to the internet. Then when you do not have access to the internet the presentation that was downloaded can be opened from the Device tab.
To download a presentation you will need to be on the Cloud tab, then click the Presentation you want to download.
Note: The Cloud tab will only show the presentations you have created or that others have given you access to.
We suggest downloading one presentation at a time so the download will be faster. You can select multiple but the download speed will be spread across all that are selected.
Note: Download speed of presentations will be based on presentation file size, download speed of your internet and the device you are using to download.
(The presentation I downloaded in the example images took about 13 minutes, on semi stable download speeds). I suggest that you download while in a stable wifi location or if you have access to plugin an ethernet cord, do so.
Once the presentation is downloaded, you are free to go offline.
Click on the Device tab and click on your presentation.
One last thing to be aware of. If you sign out (found in the settings by (cog wheel)in the top right corner ) of the offline app, you will lose your downloaded presentations, but you will receive a warning message to remind you.
Presentations will only be saved to the device so you can't access presentations you have downloaded on one computer by signing-in into the offline app onto another computer.
