If your team's Digideck was created or was in the process of being created before Animations were an editable feature. Custom Animation Classes were utilized to add animations to your slide templates and components.

These classes will prevent the animations set from the Animation Panel to happen on slide change. To resolve this, those Custom Classes need to be removed manually from any of the Components in the Master Deck so any other Presentations will be created with the updated Animation functionality.

To start this process. Select a Component that has an Animation but no Animation set by the Component Toolbar. Notice below, the text component is animating but has no animation added denoted by no yellow icon.

Once selected. Click the Properties Wrench for the Component.

In Properties you should see an attached class(es) to that Component. There might be more than one. We'll want to remove the class that is specific to describing the Animation currently happening only. IE slide-in-from-top

Select and Remove the class and save the changes.

Once that is done, adding animations via the Animations Panel can be fully utilized for that component.

We recommend doing this manual process to the Master Deck only so the Presentations previously created will still be animated and look correct but any new Presentations will have your updated changes that you will be able to manage in the future.

If you have any further questions reach out to support or your CSM.
