Overview

Grid Line Count is a feature to manage the number of lines that show when a component is selected. Use this to help keep a uniformed structure to your Digideck Slides and Layers.

There are different counts for each Layer of the Digideck. Deck, Chapter and Slide Counts are able to be different allowing for as much flexibility as possible.

Desktop and Mobile Line counts can be specified.

Basic Use Example: (Example below is a Slide Component)

  1. Select a Component

  2. Grid Line Count will Display if it is a Deck Chapter or Slide Component.

  3. Change the Entire Layer Count or Set a Custom Count via the tabbed menu.

Recommended Use

Using the same line count will help with overall alignment of components. However, each layer can be customized as well as each component.

Layers that can have a standard count:

  • Deck

  • Chapter

  • Slide

This means your Chapter Menu can have a different count than your Slide. See Below:

This Chapter Layer and Component is set to 34.

This Slide and Component is set to 44.

Utilizing a Custom Grid Count

Setting a Component to a Custom Line Count can be useful for aligning a component to another component set to a custom count on the same Layer.

To set a Custom Line Count. Select a Component and change the count type from the Default Layer Count to Custom.

Once set to Custom this Line Count will only modify this Component.
