The component library has a lot of different features that allow you to create different tools that can help improve your presentation. The static hotspot component allows hotspot images to be created.

How to Create a Static Hotspot

Step 1: Navigate to the slide that you are adding your hotspot to and then click into "Layout" mode on the bottom menu. From there, click the "+" add button to add a component.

Step 2: Search and find the Hotspot Component from the menu and then drag it onto your slide. You can adjust the size and dimensions of this hotspot on the slide.

Step 3: After finding the correct size, hit save and then go back into "Edit" mode from the bottom menu.

Note: When you add the Hotspot logo to the image, DIGIDECK will pull in the partner or prospect logo from when you created the presentation.

Step 4: Click "Add Hotspot Image" and then go into your image library. From here, you can either upload or find a background image that you are wanting to use for this hotspot. Select that image and it will bring you into a new menu where you can edit this further.

Step 5: Click "Add Layer" and then name the layer what it is going to be. You can also select the "Logo Origin" which is where the logo will come from to be added to the hotspot itself. Once this is filled out, click "Add" and the logo will appear on your background image.

You can also upload an image as well if you want a different logo or image then the presentation logo. Just select the "Image" tab when creating a layer and upload it from there.

Step 6: Drag and drop the image to the location you are wanting to place it. You can resize the image as well by dragging the corner which will snap and keep the ratio of the logo.

Some other features of the image itself include being able to skew the image, adding index and padding, or changing the background color of the image. You can also check the replicate if you want it to duplicate multiple times.

Step 7: After your changes have been made, you can click "Save All Changes" and this hotspot will be added to the slide. If you would like to go back and edit it some more, hover over the hotspot and click "Edit Hotspot" as the menu comes back up.
