DIGIDECK's Image Navigation Component is an interactive component that allows the recipients of a presentation to navigate to another slide within a presentation or a different presentation by simply clicking an image.

Creating and Setting up the Component

Step 1: Click into "Layout" mode at the bottom of the slide you'd like to add this component to.

Step 2: Access the Component Store on the top left by clicking the "+" button. From there, search and add the Image Navigation Component to your slide.

Step 3: Once the component is added, you can drag and drop to fit within your slide. You can also resize using the sliders.

Step 4: Click the "Settings" option of this component to upload the image to be displayed. This will be under the "Default Navigation Image" section of the new pop-up menu.

NOTE: You can also add a "Hover Navigation Image" under the next section in this menu. This allows the image to change when hovered over to a different one.

Step 5: Scroll down on the Settings menu to find the Navigation Path and Path URL to determine the slide or presentation you'll be pathing to. By clicking the "Choose Slide for Path" button, you can select which one to use. You can use the other options as well.

From here, navigate to the chapter and slide you want to add to the path.

Step 6: After selecting the slide, make sure you save the settings within the component to ensure sure all your changes are updated correctly.

Step 7: Make sure you save the slide as well by hitting the top "Save" menu. From here, you can go into "Edit" mode to test the component. When you hover over the image or click the image itself, it should navigate to your specified slide.
