A background grid with a text template can be used to showcase a sort of content recap on a specific slide. It is also used for creating "next steps" in a presentation.

This is best used when you want to show off big-picture content. To ensure the focus is on the text, use stock imagery or b-roll as the background images. You want to avoid images with large text as it could be covered up in some way.

To create a new slide with a template, click the top left "+ Add" section and then "Create New Slide". From there, you can search and find the template you are looking to use.
