This article goes over how to link to another slide within a slide itself if you would like to navigate without hitting the "next" option. Mainly, this will be possible by adding a link within a text box on a specific slide. You can then link it to another slide within that same presentation.
Step 1:
Navigate to the slide you want the link to go to. You will have to find the slide path (listed in the top border of the edit window) of the slide and is indicated by a "#" following the name of the chapter and slide you are going to.
Copy this line of text.
Note: A full slide path will look like this: #/chapter-name/slide-name
Step 2:
After copying the slide path, return to the main menu and find the slide you want to add this link to. Within that slide, create or edit a text box to insert the information you just copied.
Step 3:
Click the "Insert Link" option on the text toolbar to insert a link. This is where you will be pasting your slide path.
This will go into the URL section. Make sure there are no spaces in front of the "#" as it will cause issues with the link. You can also edit the "Text To Display" option here to only say what you need it to on the slide itself.
Finally, make sure you edit the "Open Link In" option to "Current Window" as this will make sure your presentation stays in the same window when navigating in your browser.
Step 4:
Save the "Insert Link" portion once you are done editing it. You can now adjust the text box to your liking as well. Once complete, make sure you click the Save button at the top of the edit window to confirm the updates.
