How to Use and Update Component Styles within DIGIDECK. This is similar to a "Preset" or "Template" that can be copied over to similar components once you find a customization you want to save.

After customizing a component to your liking, you are now able to save this as a preset to be used across the rest of your presentation. This is helpful as then you will not need to create a new component and adjust the settings every time you want to use the same exact styling.

How to Create a Component Style:

Scroll to the top of the styling menu after selecting the component you want to save. Click the "paintbrush" icon on the top right.

Click the "+" icon to save your currently selected component as a style.

In this menu, you can now name your style along with saving other options of that specific component. These styles can also save the Rotation, Opacity, and Animation that was added to the component from before. Toggle these on if you would like these to be saved as well.

NOTE: You can also set it as the "Default Style" so any new component that is created in that presentation while automatically get these settings applied.

Click the "Create New Style" option once this is complete and the settings will be saved. You will now see this style preset under the paintbrush icon as shown before to be applied to new components when created.

Applying the New Style to a Component:

Add a new component while in Layout Manager.

After your component has been added, you will see there is a "Settings" or "Gear" icon on the far right side. Click this icon and a new section will open up.

Click the "paintbrush" icon on the top right in the new menu and then select your style you want to apply to the component.

Your style will now be applied to that component.
