This feature lets you control whether a slide is visible to EXTERNAL viewers who access your presentation via a presentation link or share link.
Use Cases:
A viewer already has a link to the presentation, and you want to add a new slide, but need to customize or finalize the slide
You create a new version of the slide, or the slide is no longer relevant, and you want to hide it from the viewer, but want to keep it within the presentation for your own reference, such as with pricing or proposal with multiple iterations
You want to provide some content to the viewer ahead of the meeting, but want to hide some content until after you've reviewed it during the meeting
Tip:
If you want a slide in your Master Deck to always default to hidden when added to a presentation, you can also use this feature within the Master Deck.
How to Use:
In a Presentation:
In your presentation, navigate to the slide you want to hide or un-hide
Look for the "hide" icon on the right hand tool bar of the slide. It looks like a slide with an eye inside. (See below for example)
Click the icon to toggle the hide feature on or off.
When ON (ie, hidden from viewer), the icon will show in gold and a status box will display indicating the slide is hidden.
When OFF (ie, showing to viewer), the icon will show in blue
In the Master Deck:
In the Master Deck, navigate to the slide you want to hide or un-hide
