When editing a slide, you may want to change or restyle the text. This article will cover how to change the size of your text, the line spacing or line height of your text, and other text styling functions.
How do I edit the text on my slide?
As long as the text you are editing is not a part of the image you should be able to edit it. First, find the slide that has the text you want to edit, then click on the text area. If the text area is editable a toolbar will appear at the top of your slide area.
NOTE: The text text tool bar options will vary based on whether you have a dynamic canvas or a fixed canvas. The main difference in the toolbar is seen when adjusting the line height and font size, which is addressed later in this article. Access the Text Tool Bar
To access the text tool bar, click into an area of text on your slide.
In the example image above, the text area was first clicked into, then the text was highlighted to help illustrate interaction with the text area.
Change the style of my text
The "Paragraph" menu, allows you to choose between different header and body text styles.
Each style has a pre-defined font, font size, and line height. When you change the text style, those pre-defined settings will apply.
You also have the option to customize the text size and line height manually. See below for directions on manually changing text size and line height.
Pro Tip: Changing text styles increases engagement, by making slide information look more appealing to readers. The "Paragraph" menu is located in the text toolbar.

Manually adjust Font Size or Line Height - for Fixed Canvas

On a fixed canvas, you can adjust the font size using a pixel based size.
The "Size" menu on the text toolbar allows you to manually adjust the text size and line height.
The font size (size of your text) can be changed using the "+" or "-" buttons, or by typing a specific size in the box.
The line spacing can be adjusted as follows:
1 - this is the default line spacing for the selected style
1.1 to 1.9 - each decimal point adjusts the line spacing by 10%
2 - 200% line spacing

The "Size" menu, allows you to set "Font Size" and "Line Height" using responsive options optimized for dynamic web canvases. Responsive options are Tiny, Small, Regular, Large and Huge.
Pro Tip: When using a dynamic canvas, responsive font size and height options are highly recommended to ensure an optimal viewing experience.

Can I still use static sizing with a Dynamic Canvas?
For users who still want to set a static font size or line height, pixel based size options can be found under the "Format" menu.
Pro Tip: Setting static font sizes on a Dynamic canvas can cause inconsistent results on different screen sizes, including desktop view, mobile view, and PDF exports, therefore this is not recommended
