If you have any questions that were not addressed within the Presentation Flow articles, please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to coordinate a 30 minute workshop.

Questions formatted with any of the open text field options should generally be used to dynamically populate the answers onto slides as template variables, NOT to drive Rules. This list includes:

  • Text

  • Text Area

  • Number

  • Date

  • Currency

“Label” can be viewed as the question or the prompt to which your team members would answer in the process of building a custom presentation. In the example below, “Which company are you presenting to?” could just as easily be “Company Name” or any preferred verbiage.

“Template Variable Name” is the value that should be used in your Master Deck to designate where the information provided in the text area should be dynamically populated. This is accomplished by placing the “Template Variable Name” on any slide enclosed within double curly brackets {{}}. In the example below, you’d place {{companyName}} into any Master Deck slide where you’d like the answer to populate. Note that you are NOT able to use numbers, spaces, or any special characters and that template variables ARE case sensitive.

Once you’ve completed your customizations and click the 'Add Field' button, you will see the form field as any of your team members would see it when building a presentation.

You can always circle back to make edits on individual form fields by clicking the Edit (pencil) icon on the right.
