DIGIDECK's Template Store will allow users to create slides from templates imported by their organization's admins.

How to Create a Slide Using a Template from the Template Store

Step 1: Navigate to the presentation you're working on, click on the "+ Add" button on the top left menu and select "Create New Slide".

Step 2: Select the chapter you want to add this new slide to.

Step 3: Browse through the currently imported templates to find the desired template.

If you would like to use a template you don't see, you can browse the Template Store by clicking the top left menu and then selecting "Template Store" from that drop-down.

Step 4: Navigate through the many options to find a template that you want to import. The preview images show what it might look like once styled.

NOTE: These templates use generic styling, colors, and images when previewing, but when imported into your deck, they will inherit your organization's, Master Styles.

You can also hover over a template and click "Examples" to get a better understanding of what the imported template will look like.

Step 5: Once you've selected a template, name the slide, then click "Create Slide" to import it into the presentation you started with.

After creating the slide, it will bring you back to "Edit Mode" where you can make any changes or alterations to the newly imported slide.

FAQ

What if I do not see the Template Store option when creating a new slide for my presentation?
Available templates are determined by your deck admin(s), who can either add them to your Saved Template Library or allow individual users to browse and select templates based on their needs.

โ€‹What if I do not see the Template Store button in my Template Library?
The Template Store is not available for customers using the Legacy platform for their Master Decks and Presentations. If you do not see the Template Library option or do not see the Template Store button when opening your Template Library, please reach out to your customer success manager to discuss options for enabling this functionality.

โ€‹What is the Legacy platform?
The Legacy platform refers to older Master Decks which were not built using the component architecture. Legacy decks can be converted into new component Master Decks. If this is something your organization is interested in pursuing, please reach out to your customer success manager to discuss options for enabling this functionality.

Why doesn't my slide look exactly like the Template Preview?

DIGIDECK uses your branding styling by default to ensure consistency. Template previews are to give a general idea of what is possible with the template. Your DIGIDECK's styling can be edited in the Design Center.

How do I prevent slide content from being cut off by my menu?

Chapter margins are probably needed to ensure content isn't cut off by the menu. Learn about using chapter margins
