In this Learning Lab

This session walks through six of the most popular ways customers are using DIGI AI, followed by a demo of DIGI PDF Studio and a short Q&A. Every example is done in the DIGI chat.

We describe DIGI as “AI with a seat belt.” DIGI works from your own brand standards, content, images, slides and the rules your team has set up for it, so what it creates is something your team can actually use.

Use case 1: Build a personalized presentation from a document

The most popular use case is attaching a document and asking DIGI to build a personalized presentation from it. The document can be call notes, a strategy document, a screenshot or even a prospect’s website. Drag the file into the DIGI chat (or click the + button) and ask something like “Build me a personalized deck from these call notes.”

DIGI reviews your Master Deck Library, selects the slides that are relevant, and personalizes them based on the document. In the demo, DIGI added the prospect’s logo and a “prepared for” line on the cover, and included only the sections of an integrations slide that matched what was discussed on the call. DIGI can also follow rules your team sets up; in this case, a rule to include an early slide summarizing the key takeaways from the meeting.

Personalization also means leaving out content that isn’t relevant, so the recipient isn’t working through slides that don’t apply to them.

Note: Across presentations sent through DIGIDECK, presentations with no personalization average about 5.5 minutes of read time (compared to about 2.5 minutes for a PDF or PowerPoint). Presentations with even light copy personalization average about 11.5 minutes. Personalization works best when it’s visible early in the presentation.

Use case 2: Review an existing presentation

You can ask DIGI to review a presentation you’ve already built, even one you sent a while ago. In the demo, we asked DIGI to check a presentation for slides from the Master Deck Library that should have been included, and to check for spelling errors. DIGI listed four slides that were missing, explained why each one should be included, and flagged several copy and spelling errors.

You can then ask DIGI to add the recommended slides or fix the errors. If the presentation has already been sent, the recipient doesn’t need a new link; they’ll see the updates the next time they open it.

We also recommend asking DIGI to check that a presentation you’ve reused from one customer doesn’t still reference that customer anywhere.

Use case 3: Personalize a single slide

When you only need to tailor one slide, such as an overview slide before an intro call, you can ask DIGI to personalize it for a specific industry (for example, “Personalize the platform slide copy for an insurance prospect”). If DIGI isn’t sure how much to change, it will ask. In the demo, it asked whether to update the headline, the introduction, or the copy inside each section.

DIGI can go further than copy. It can swap or add images, add another section, or change button labels, and it keeps everything on brand with your fonts and formatting.

Tip: You don’t need a specific direction to start. You can describe what isn’t working (for example, “I feel like I’m not making this point strong enough”) and work through ideas with DIGI. Some users do this with voice input instead of typing.

Use case 4: Find content in your Master Deck Library

If your Master Deck Library has hundreds of slides, you can ask DIGI whether a slide already exists before building something new. For example, “Do we have a slide that covers our new implementation packages in the master deck library?” DIGI finds the slide and summarizes what it covers. This also helps when your team uses different names for the same content.

Use case 5: Update pricing throughout a presentation

You can ask DIGI to update pricing in a presentation by typing the new pricing or attaching a screenshot of it. DIGI finds the pricing, updates it in the right spots, and keeps the font size and formatting. This works across every slide that includes pricing, not just one.

Use case 6: Get answers from your analytics

DIGI can answer questions about your presentation analytics that would be hard to filter for in the dashboard. Examples from the session:

  • How many views were on mobile this month across our presentations?

  • Which presentations went quiet after the first read?

  • Compare presentations with the contact form on versus off.

  • Which slide do people stay on the longest?

  • Who read this proposal?

  • Who should I follow up with based on yesterday’s engagement?

You can then ask DIGI to build a slide that summarizes your takeaways so you can review them with your team.

DIGI PDF Studio

DIGI PDF Studio turns an interactive presentation into a designed PDF. Content hidden behind buttons and popups is laid out on the page, a new cover is designed for the PDF, and links still work. To open it, click the ellipsis (three dots) to the right of a presentation in your ‘Presentations’ library, then select ‘PDF Studio’.

When you first generate a PDF, you can choose landscape or portrait, keep the exact wording or not, and pick just the slides you want. You can then use the PDF Studio chat to change text, colors or images (or make click edits yourself), and everything stays on brand. Teams use it for one-pagers, sell sheets, printed leave-behinds and even poster-size prints.

Note: DIGI PDF Studio is currently in beta, so we’re actively making improvements based on customer feedback.

Questions from the session

How does DIGI pick images from my library?

When DIGI is turned on for your deck, your images are indexed using AI image analysis. DIGI uses that analysis, along with your existing image tags, to select images; it doesn’t rely on image names or tags alone.

Can DIGI find images on the web?

Not currently. DIGI only uses the images and assets in your library. We’re still deciding how an option for web images might work (for example, only at an admin level).

How do I share feedback?

Through the support chat or your Customer Success Manager. We use customer feedback to make changes quickly.
